Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Motivation GSEO handles the account, product, measurement, and Linear integration data needed to operate the service.
Effective June 19, 2026
What we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, workspace membership, and authentication identifiers.
- Product monitoring details such as product names, domains, descriptions, competitors, public pages, measurement runs, and strategy recommendations.
- Linear integration details such as the Linear workspace, team, project, authorized user, OAuth tokens, created issue IDs, and issue URLs needed to file and maintain GSEO recommendations.
- Operational data such as logs, request metadata, billing status, feature usage, and error reports used to keep GSEO reliable and secure.
How we use data
- We use product data to measure generative-search visibility, produce recommendations, and show evidence for those recommendations.
- We use Linear data only to connect the selected workspace, create the dedicated GSEO project for a product, file requested recommendations, and update the issues GSEO created.
- We use operational data to debug, prevent abuse, improve product quality, support customers, and satisfy legal or billing obligations.
What we do not do
- We do not sell customer data.
- We do not use private Linear workspace content outside the permissions granted by the connected user.
- We do not read or edit unrelated Linear issues as part of the GSEO connector.
Retention and deletion
- We keep account, product, measurement, and integration records while the workspace uses GSEO or while needed for security, billing, support, and legal obligations.
- Customers can request export, correction, disconnection, or deletion by contacting support.
- Disconnecting Linear prevents new Linear actions. We may retain historical issue references so prior GSEO recommendations remain auditable.
